  1. My experience with Motorola Signal Boosters assures me that the product will be fine… if it ever arrives. Amazon uses a service of FedEx called Smartpost where FedEx ships the product to a Customer-local USPS distribution center. USPS then delivers it to the Customer. Don’t think so? Enter your Amazon-provided USPS number into the FedEx tracking system and you will see what I mean.

The end result is you get FedEx’s cheapest and worst service along with the wonders of USPS. It is for this reason that Amazon.com is my supplier of last resort.

  3. I have only an HD antenna to receive over the air reception. Some of my stations have borderline signals that come and go, and occasionally the sound drops out. I can receive 14 stations.

I hoped this amplifier would increase the signal so those channels would come in with less dropped signals but I was wrong. With the amplifier hooked up, I receive 11 stations and each was a little weaker. For me then, this product doesn’t work. I returned it.

I do not know why it did not amplify the signal but the strength of each station was much less on the signal meter.

  4. This product took 5 minutes to install. I replaced my existing splitter and my HD Channel that was coming in at 60% jumped to 95%. I was receiving most channels well, but CBS was coming and going. Now I get CBS and other channels that I did not know even existed.

  5. I live in the Evergreen area of San Jose, CA. With a Wineguard Squareshooter outdoor antenna, I realiably pick up most of the channels in my area, except for ABC7 and Fox2, which are flaky depending on time of day and weather conditions. I bought this signal booster to try to improve reception for those two channels. But I don’t see any real improvement, so I’ll have to give it only 3 stars.
