This box has only VGA input from your computer, and ATSC antenna inputs for OTA or cable. There are NO other inputs that you can connect your DVD player or VHS player into, and neither of these are appropriate for a DVD or VHS player. This severely limits the utility of this box.
It’s a very poorly thought out design. If you’re looking for a device that will turn your computer monitor into a FULL FEATURED TV set *without tying up your computer*, THIS BOX AIN’T IT. So right now, in order to use this I have to keep using my AverTV Box 7 analog-to-VGA box and feed the output into the Box 7 (I had hoped to completely upgrade the Box 7 to the KWorld, but I just lose way too much functionality). The Box 7 even has PIP, with both composite and S-Video inputs, so it makes a much better TV set out of a monitor than the KWorld.
Looks like AverTV does actually have an ATSC version of their box now, called the Box 11, though it’s about twice the price of the KWorld. You get what you pay for I guess.

Works really well, remote control kind of sluggish. I replaced the batteries that came with it and it seems to work better.

I bought this Kworld Tuner for my 50” Visio plasma HD monitor (in the LR) which does not have a TV tuner. I connected the Comcast cable directly to the unit then connected this unit to the Visio monitor using the component video cables. It worked OK. I’m kind of disappointed because, but after the scanning, it did not give me ALL the channels as I hoped as I was comparing with the TV cable directly connected to my 37” Visio LCD in the FR, which could get 50% more channels. I can’t complain because a real good TV tuner can be very expensive, compared to the price I paid for (around $70.00).

I’m enjoyin this tv box. It got the most antenna and cable channels and the picture is as clear as it can be. But the manual is useless. And its not a good music player because in a playlist, it doesn’t go to the next song. Which means you’ll have to do it manually. Overall, great little box!

Although I did have a hard time getting it to work, do to not so good instructions, once I figured out what button on the remote changed the output of the device and which button changed the resolution and got that set up correctly it worked flawlessly. Great picture quality and a great value.
